Here Comes Summer!

Here it is June, yet we can’t call it summer with the cool and rainy days we’ve been having here in the East. I certainly hope things dry up for our Boalsburg show, and, really dry up for Musikfest!

I’m looking forward to our road trips and chatting with many of you who stop by. Meanwhile I’m working on stock and trying new ideas. It’s always fun in the studio.

See below for information about Webinar Wednesdays — my first this coming week. And if you sign up, make sure you give us a shout out when the webinar starts.

Until then, enjoy your summer!

Webinar Wednesdays

stamped salad bowl setI’m really excited to work with I Fired Arts on hour long webinars. I hope you find the time to enroll in some of the workshops. The first video will stream live this Wednesday the 19th from 8:00-9:00EST. I’ve decided to do a stamping demonstration as my first webinar. I will go over how to mix enamels with the Stamping Medium and incorporate it into glass projects. The possibilities are endless! The photo above incorporates stamped, fused, and slumped pieces into a unique salad bowl. For more information check out my videos on the I Fired Arts website.

If you’ve taken the class or saw the demonstration at the Las Vegas Expo and need to brush up, this is the webinar for you. You can pose real time questions which will be answered almost immediately and view a live demonstration of stamping techniques. Registration includes a notes sheet with information about the stamping webinar.

Hope to hear from you online this week! And, I will let you know about future topics for the upcoming webinars.

Glass in Concrete — It’s Finished!

glass in concrete finishedThank you to Mauser Brothers Construction, Andy Schmalzer Masonry, and Concrete Decor Studio for making this project a success. The glass inlay is the result of several techniques including mesh melt, vitrograph stringer, frit making, and lots of grinding! Get in touch if you want us to design something for you!
