Making Millefiori Jewelry - Thursday, April 6, 2013 – You will discover an exciting new way to combine “mashed millis” into tack fused dimensional pins and pendants, using stringers, twists and other Efferete (104 COE)- formerly known as Moretti- component parts. When you “mash” the hot milli, it becomes thinner and expands the design. The trick is in the squish and temperatures of the glass, and this class will teach you milli mashing along with using a variety of jewelry molds. Private Glass Fusing Classes / Workshops 2012
NEW! After eight months of sometimes challenging renovations, we have moved back home and into a much better studio environment. The new studio is still in the basement but the ceilings are higher, the windows bring in lots of natural light, and a separate soundproof kiln room keeps the heat and some tasks out of sight. There is much more room for projects and we have wifi! Bring your personal device so that you can search for pictures that inspire you to create the perfect bowl or plate! I hope you can all find time to come work with us.
Interested in learning how to fuse glass? Private and small group classes are available with individual instruction or open studio.
Open Studio Classes
Come to the studio and create! All supplies, glass, firing, and instruction included.
Arrange times for your group or come join an open class! Minimum three to a class. Classes are $70. for 2 1/2 hours. During that time you can make three pieces-one up to 12″ and two smaller pieces as time permits. Please contact Erica to sign up or learn more.

Special Technique Classes
From Venice with Love: Millefiori Pendants and Frit Casting Too, Tuesday, February 26 — 6:30-9:00PM: Design your own jewelry using the “thousand flowers” imported from Italy. Choose your colors and shapes from my extensive collection of millefiori. Also learn how to frit cast with dichroic highlights. From mold washing to cap cutting, you will be a pro! After the first firing, Erica will fire polish and add the clips and bails for you. You will be able to make up to four pieces. $75 per person.
Great Cuts: strips to circles, Tuesday, March 5 — 6:30-9:30PM: Learn how to cut strips and turn them into squares, rectangles, triangles and diamonds. Try your hand at cutting circles. This class will demonstrate how to do each cut and give you time to practice. Your shapes can then be turned into a fused piece. Includes handouts. $105 per person.
