Glass Fusing: Soap Dishes

Learn the art of Glass Fusing (melting pieces of colored glass together) as you create two glass soap dishes in your choice of colors to match your decor. All tools and materials are included. Glass Art for Parents & Kids (Ages 10 and Up)

Explore the exciting world of glass fusing! Students will create several glass projects including glass refrigerator magnets, sun catchers, jewelry and more! Glass fusing is an exciting new medium consisting of cutting colored sheet glass in different shapes and patterns, placing them in a kiln, and watching the glass melt together right before your eyes! Please bring your imagination. This class is designed for beginners and tools and glass will be provided. Safety precautions will be covered first class.

Want to sharpen your cutting skills? Learn how to easily set up for strip cutting, cutting standard geometric shapes, and any angle needed using the Morton Portable Glass Shop. Quickly and accurately you can turn a perfect square into triangles, and diamonds into hexagons.

NEW! Stamp Your Glass (2 Part Class)
Wednesday, March 3 6:30-8:00 PM AND Tuesday, March 9, 6:30-9:00 PM
Do you have several rubber stamps that you have not used in years? Put them to good use! You will learn to transfer graphic images to your glass by using rubber stamps. This class will cover the mixing of high fire enamels and transferring them to the stamp and finally to the glass.
